Building on Nigeria-China partnerships, this expo stream will showcase Kano’s tech and products to Chinese and international markets. It will feature a China Technology Pavilion where Chinese firms present urban tech, e-commerce platforms, and manufacturing innovations adapted for Africa. Concurrently, Kano startups and manufacturers will exhibit for Chinese investors and trade delegations. Business-tobusiness matchmaking sessions will help establish Sino-Nigerian partnerships (for example, Chinese agri-tech firms linking with local farmers). This initiative leverages China’s role in African infrastructure while expanding into digital trade
A major highlight of the conference is the launch of the Infrastructure Network for African Food (INAF) a high-profile, Pan-African initiative spearheaded by Bunkasa Agritech Ltd. INAF is designed to mobilize investment, innovation, and policy coordination around food systems infrastructure a critical yet often overlooked component of agricultural transformation across the continent. INAF's mission is to act as a catalytic platform for the design, financing, and deployment of resilient, scalable, and climate-smart infrastructure throughout Africa’s food value chains. As a new continental forum, INAF brings together leaders from agriculture, policymaking, and finance.
An innovation lab and skills accelerator for young Africans. Over the conference days, the Lab will host a continent-wide hackathon and collaborative workshops, inviting youth teams from across Africa. Participants will co-create tech solutions for local problems (e.g. FinTech apps for rural banking, drone-imagery tools for farming, or smart water systems), guided by mentors. Given that Africa’s median age is ~19 are under 30, this Lab will harness youth energy for positive impact. Outcomes will include a showcase of youth-led prototypes and commitments to support them.
